PROTECT AGAINST IDENTITY THEFT


Be aware of fraudulent e-mails that appear to come from a legitimate source which, in fact, are designed to trick you into disclosing sensitive, confidential information or downloading a virus. AIG Bank will never send you an email requesting sensitive information nor will we send an email that includes a link to a site that requests this type of information.


What to do if you receive a suspicious e-mail

If you suspect that you've received a fraudulent e-mail that appears to be from AIG Bank:    

  • Do not respond to the e-mail.
  • Forward a copy of the e-mail to the Federal Trade Commission at SPAM@UCE.GOV and then delete the e-mail.  
If you responded or disclosed your personal information to a possible fraudulent e-mail or website:
  • File an online complaint with the Internet Crime Complaint Center at http://www.ic3.gov immediately.
  • Notify AIG Bank at 1-877-238-5221.
